OUR MISSION:
DWAITING EXISTS TO SHARE GOD'S PLAN FOR SEX AND RELATIONSHIPS AND TO INSPIRE HOPE IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM.

Adam and Ebie met after crossing paths as teachers in the same school district and playing together in a faculty/student basketball game. After 18 months of dwaiting, the couple was married on 06/07/08. Since then, they have been sharing the story of how saving sex for marriage was crucial to the success of their relationship. They coined the term “dwaiting” to describe waiting for sex while dating, and until marriage.

Dr. Elizabeth (Ebie) Adkins is a Teacher of the Deaf, college instructor, and Sexual Risk Avoidance Specialist. Adam is a Career and College Navigator, a former teacher and principal, and a basketball nut. They speak to young people at conferences, schools and churches about their relationship experiences and the benefits of waiting until marriage for sex.  They are youth leaders at Botts Church in Denniston, Ky and parents to a teacup poodle, Mr. Tumnus (Tummy).
